TINY HOME HAULERS REFUND POLICY

This policy governs the refund of fees paid for our services, including transport, site preparation, setup, and administrative assistance.

SECTION A: REFUND DUE TO CLIENT CANCELLATION

If the Client chooses to terminate the service contract for any reason, the refund amount will be determined by the timing of the cancellation notice relative to the Scheduled Delivery/Service Start Date.

A.1 Non-Refundable Administrative Costs

Regardless of the cancellation date, the following third-party costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any eligible refund amount:

  • Permitting Fees: Any local or state permit application fees, utility connection fees, or zoning variance fees already paid to the municipality on the Client’s behalf.
  • Third-Party Contractor Deposits: Non-refundable deposits paid to our pre-approved septic, well-drilling, or electrical partners for site development work.

SECTION B: REFUND DUE TO COMPANY FAILURE (Non-Delivery)

The Client is entitled to a Full Refund (100%) of All Service Fees Paid under the following conditions, which constitute a “Failure to Handle Delivery” by Tiny Home Haulers:

  1. Failure to Dispatch: THH fails to dispatch the transport vehicle to the agreed-upon pick-up location within a 7-day window of the Scheduled Delivery Date, and this failure is not due to a Force Majeure event (e.g., severe weather, state-wide emergency) or Client fault.
  2. Material Breach: THH unilaterally terminates the contract without a breach of terms by the Client (e.g., THH determines the job is unprofitable after the contract is signed).
  3. Logistical Inability: THH discovers an unresolvable logistical hurdle on the scheduled route (e.g., an unanticipated bridge weight limit) that prevents delivery, and THH is unable to find an alternative solution within 14 days of the scheduled date.

B.1 Exclusion to Company Failure

A refund under Section B will not be issued if non-delivery or delay is caused by:

  • Client Fault: The Unit is not ready for pickup, the site is inaccessible due to Client-owned property, or the Client fails to secure necessary land access permissions.
  • Force Majeure: Delays or cancellations due to extreme weather, governmental shutdowns, or declared national emergencies.
  • Regulatory Changes: Delivery is blocked or permanently delayed due to a last-minute regulatory change or denial of permits/inspections by a local authority (fees paid for these services remain non-refundable per Section A.1).

SECTION C: REFUND PROCESS

  1. Written Request: All requests for contract termination and refund must be submitted to Tiny Home Haulers in writing via email or certified mail.
  2. Processing Time: Eligible refunds will be processed and returned to the original payment method within 30 business days of the refund approval date.
  3. Calculation: The THH accounting department will provide a detailed breakdown of all fees paid, deductions made (per Section A.1), and the final refund amount.
